A 1953 Bentley 6,5 liter Supercharger Petersen Racer is up for sale in the UK with the asking price being £440,000.
This racing car has covered just 4,000 miles and below the body is the chassis of a Bentley R type of 1953, with the rest of the car modified by Bob Petersen in 2003.
The car is equipped with an 8-cylinder in-line 6.5 liter engine, which was originally developed for use in military and commercial uses. Then the yield was 195 horses at 3,750 rpm, but the Petersen BM supercharger, increases its horsepower to over 400 hp. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a limited slip differential.
