The 1971 Corvette concept presented at SEMA is specifically designed for the champion of NASCAR, Jimmie Johnson, who worked with Chevrolet to modify the Corvette C3. Among other things, the car is equipped with an LT1 engine, linked to a six-speed Super Magnum manual gearbox, adjustable coilover suspension, and brakes from the previous generation of the Corvette Z06.

It also features a new hood, redesigned fenders, 18 inch wheels, which resemble the original 15 inch wheels of the 1971 model, while the interior is covered by leather and suede and carbon details.
