A 1974 BMW 2002 Turbo will go to auction at the end of February in Berlin. The 2002 Turbo was the first automobile of mass production of the German company which was equipped with a turbo gasoline engine.
The car is one of the 1,672 built by BMW and it is equipped with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo engine producing 170 hp with 240 Nm torque, combined with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The car is able to do the 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds, having a top speed of 211 km/h. The auction house believes that the car may be sold for €50,000.
