The BMW X3 M40i will be equipped with the 3-liter engine of the M2 producing 370 hp, while the X3 M will have the 3-liter engine from the M3/M4, producing about 500 hp. The design of these versions will have a more sporty appearance, with new bumpers at the front and rear and a sports exhaust.
The new fast versions of the X3 will be the competitors of the Audi Q5,Mercedes GLC and Porsche Macan. The new X3, has a G01 code and it is based on the new CLAR platform of the company. It is expected to weigh 100 kilos less, compared to the current generation, offering also an improved interior.
