The performance models have an aluminum hood with a “power bulge” and vents, slightly different front lights and a distinctive splitter. At the rear, the cars feature LED lights. In addition to these, the SRT Hellcat, has a larger front splitter, larger rear spoiler and an exclusive to the version “Air Catcher” airway. The “simple” Challenger SRT, rests in 20 inch forged alloy wheels, while the Hellcat has lighter wheels, forged again, with matt black paint and Pirelli P Zero Nero tires. The Hellcat is also equipped “with the largest front brake package installed in an SRT vehicle” . In particular, the front brakes of the Challenger SRT Hellcat consist of 390 mm discs with 6- piston calipers.

The Challenger SRT Hellcat, is driven by a supercharged HEMI V8, with a capacity of 6.2 liters that produces more than 600 hp. The simple SRT on the other, is equipped with a 6.4 liter HEMI V8 that produces 485 hp and 643 Nm of torque. Both engines are combined to either a 6 speed manual or an 8 speed automatic transmission.

The interior, while apparently resembles that of the standard model, has some touches like the sport steering wheel, the seats are clad in leather and alcantara, a retro dashboard, combined with a hightech 7 inch touch screen 7 inch. Something that is of interest is the fact that the Challenger SRT, has two keys. One red and one black. With the red key, the driver is available to use 100 % of what the car offers. The black, however, ” restricts the driver with reduced engine performance” . In addition to the black key, both the SRT and the SRT Hellcat, have “Valet Mode” which significantly limits the engine.
