Honda brought at the Los Angeles auto show, the Civic Si, that is placed between the Sport version and the Type R at the top. The Honda Civic Si will be offered only in a sedan version. It stads on 19-inch wheels, it has a modified aerodynamic body kit with a fixed rear spoiler, a central exhaust tailpipe and sport seats at its interior.
Mechanically the Civic Si is equipped with a four-cylinder 1.5-liter turbo engine that is expected to produce around 230 hp (Honda did not announce anything regarding the performance of the engine).
The engine is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, with Honda mentioning that the Civic Si has active shock absorbers, new settings in the steering and a limited slip differential, with its additional equipment featuring high-performance tires. Honda said also that the new Civic Si is the best, strongest and fastest Si that they have ever built.
