The car is equipped with an atmospheric 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with direct injection. The new 911 RSR is supplied with the Collision Avoid system which uses a radar and alerts drivers that they are approaching faster cars, such as the cars of the LMP1 category, since many times in endurance races, such accidents have been observed, especially during the night.
