1934 Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3 heads to auction

An impressive and incredibly collectible 1934 Alfa Romeo Tipo B will be auctioned at Retromobile Paris in February. It is one of the vehicles manufactured by Scuderia for Alfa Romeo’s behalf before the second World War and it is considered by many as one of the prettiest racing cars.

The car was designed by Vittorio Jano, and it is one of the 9 cars of the second series, that was produced and that was consistent with the revised regulations. It is equipped with an 8-cylinder in-line 1.8-liter engine with dual superchargers.

It has been almost 10 years since the last time such a car appeared at an auction, with RM Sotheby’s estimating that its sale price will be close to €3.6 and €4.6 million.
