Old Concept Cars: Dodge Super8 Hemi

In early 2000, Daimler Chrysler, presented the Dodge Super8 Hemi that had an almost vertical front windshield. The car had rear doors that open backwards, red leather seats and metallic decorations.

The Super8 Hemi had a wheelbase of 3 meters and a spacious interior. It was equipped with a 5.7 liter Hemi V8 engine that delivered 353 hp with 536 Nm torque. The power was transferred to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission, that enabled the car to reach 100 km/h from a standstill, in under six seconds while its top speed reached 248 km/h.

The Super8 was officially presented in 2001 at the North American International Auto Show of Detroit.
