The new generation of the Elise will be built on an updated version of the company’s chassis, with the model being developed to comply with the regulations of the U.S. The target of Lotus is selling 4,000 units a year, with Gales adding that the next generation of the Exige will go on sale in 2022. Before Lotus unveils the two new models, they will continue the development and improvement of the current generations of the Elise, Exige and Evora.
