The Alpine A120 Coupe will be presented in 2017

Renault will present the first model of Alpine at the beginning of 2017. The compact sporty model will be called A120 and according to the CEO of Alpine, Michael van der Sande, its deliveries will begin in the summer of 2017.

The mid engine rear-wheel model will be offered as a coupe and a roadster. Its design is not expected to differ substantially from the Vision Concept that the company presented last February.

Renault has ambitious plans for the brand, with rumors saying that the company has plans of hybrid and SUV models that will be sold under the Alpine band.

The new Alpine will probably be equipped with a new turbo engine producing around 300 hp and it will have a price around €50,000. It will weigh close to 1,000 kg and it will be the main competitor of the Lotus Elise and the Alfa Romeo 4C .
