Pininfarina will eventually send to production the Sergio concept. Just six cars will be built with each costing nearly €1.5 million. As result of the two photos leaked, the car compared to the concept, has acquired a windshield, side windows and 12 mm taller nose, so that it passes the safety tests of pedestrian protection.
It will be based on the Ferrari 458 Spider having a length of 4.550 mm, width of 1.940 mm and a height of 1.140 mm high, with the luggage space to amount to 110 liters. It will be equipped with the 4,5 liter V8 engine of the 458 Spider combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
