Aston Martin presented at the Geneva Motor show the Vulcan. The car is based on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, while the same material is used for its body that ultimately offers a power to weight ratio exceeding the corresponding figure of a GTE race car.

The suspension is of pushrod type with anti-dive geometry and its shock absorbers are adjustable. The English hypercar, is also equipped with anti-roll bars front and rear as well as adjustable by the driver ABS and traction control.

The car is equipped with an atmospheric, 7 liter V12 engine that delivers more than 800 hp and it is combined with a racing, 6-speed sequential Xtrac gearbox and a limited slip differential. The shaft is made of carbon fiber, the torque tube of magnesium, the brakes are made of carbon-ceramic with 380 mm diameter discs at the front and 360 mm at the rear, with Michelin racing tires measuring 345/30/19.

The Vulcan is accompanied by ownership program, in which before the pick up of their vehicles, the owners participate in a comprehensive and detailed “training”. Experienced racing drivers such as Darren Turner will help the owners to improve their skills on the track, using vehicles such as the V12 Vantage S, the One-77 as well as the racing, Vantage GT4 before they get their hands on the Vulcan. Besides this, the owners will have the opportunity to use simulators of the company, a privilege enjoyed until now only by racing drivers of Aston Martin. The prioce of the car is  £1.8 million pounds.
