Renault presented at Geneva, a special edition of the Clio RS, named Clio RS 220 Trophy EDC. The car is equipped with a 1.6 liter turbo engine producing 220 hp at 6,250 rpm and 280 Nm of torque with the “Torque Boost”.
Apart from the engine, revamped is the transmission of the Clio RS 220 Trophy EDC. The gear changes are 40% faster in “Normal” and “Sport” mode and 50% faster in “Race” mode.
The Clio RS 220 Trophy EDC is 20 mm lower in the front and 10 mm at the rear, the shock absorbers are harder, the springs are new and the steering wheel responds faster. Sales of this edition will be launched in the summer of 2015.
