Honda announced that they are going to cancel the Crosstour and stop selling it from May. The car was presented in 2009, with Honda stating that it combined the best features of a crossover, a sedan and a wagon car, but it never saw commercial success like the Japanese version.
Honda says that the reason for cancelling the model is the continuously growing segment of crossovers that is direct competition for the car, with the company hoping that the HR-V will play a more important role in future sales.
