The first of the 20 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R Z-Tune built by Nismo is being sold in an auction in Australia, having reached a price over 750,000 Australian dollars.

The R34 GT-R Z-Tune was produced to celebrate the 20th birthday of Nismo. Because the production of the R34 had been stopped, the Nismo had to use 20 well-preserved secondhand R34 GT-R V-Spec. These had to have less than 30,000 kilometers and have no modifications.
Nismo found 12 cars, with the remaining eight donated by their owners. All cars were painted in silver Z-Tune Silver color, with the #001 being a GT-R V-Spec 1 of 1999 and being converted into a Z-Tune in 2005.
The engine of the car features new camshafts, forged crankshaft and forged pistons, a bigger turbo, new exhaust and new air intake. All these modifications help the car produce 493 hp with 539 Nm of torque.
