Volkswagen presented the Golf 1.0 TSI BlueMotion, that is equipped with a 1 liter three-cylinder TSI engine that delivers 115 hp with 200 Nm torque and emits 99 g/km of CO2. The car is available as a three-door, five-door, estate and Sportsvan and it has two trim levels: Trendline and Comfortline.
The engine can be combined with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed automatic dual-clutch (DSG) gearbox, with the 0-100 km/h coming in 9.7 seconds and the top speed being 203 km/h. The car has an average fuel consumption of 4.3 liters/100 km, when combined with the DSG. The estate version has an average fuel consumption of 4.3 l/100 km (4.5 liters with the DSG), while the Golf Sportsvan consumes on average 4.5 liters when combined with the 6-speed manual gearbox and 4.6 liters when combined with the DSG.
