Peugeot has announced that the 308 GTI will be presented at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The French hot hatch be fitted with the same engine as the RCZ-R, which is a 1.6 liter engine, producing 270 hp at 6,000 rpm with 330 Nm of torque available from 1,900 to 5,500 rpm.
The 308 GTi will be released later in 2015 and it will feature LED lights, a new suspension, a Torsen differential lock, sports exhaust system and larger brakes.
It’s engine will be combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox that sends the power to the front wheels. Rumors also say that the car will get an R version, that will produce over 270 hp and that it will be the most powerful Peugeot production car of all time.
