KIA presented the cee’d facelift, which features a new front bumper, chrome around the fog lights, a slightly different grille and a new rear bumper with new LED lights.
The interior features better sound insulation materials, a slightly different instrument panel, a black, glossy surface on the center console and chrome on the handles, the gear lever and other parts of the cabin.
The cee’d facelift, will be available with a new three-cylinder, 1 liter gasoline engine, available in two versions, of 100 and 120 hp with the torque in both cases being 172 Nm. The range of petrol engines features a 1.6 liter GDI with 128 hp and a 1.4 liter MPI with 100 hp.
The diesel range features a 1.6 liter CRDi with 110 hp and another engine that delivers 136 hp. The engines are available with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed, dual-clutch automatic.
Finally, the GT version of the car, features an engine with a new turbo, that makes it produce 204 hp with 265 Nm of torque and helps it improve the throttle response and the torque at low rpm. The car can do the 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. The sales of the KIA cee’d facelift will begin shortly.
