According to rumors Nissan is preparing the second generation of the Leaf that will be launched in 2017 and it will available also as a crossover. The move seems logical, because crossover cars sell much more than hatchback. The new generation of the Leaf will benefit from an increased battery efficiency that will give it an autonomy of around 400 km.
