The Inspiration has the Highway Pilot technology consisting of a radar, a camera and several other safety systems like an Active Cruise Control, allowing the truck to move autonomously on the highway. The company has done more than 16,000 km of tests with the truck in Papenburg track of Germany. The truck can move safely on the highway, it can adjust its velocity and it can achieve a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 5%, and a decrease in CO2 emissions.
