Lexus presented the GS facelift, that features a new front bumper with a new grille, LED lights front and back, small improvements in the rear bumper, new wheels, new available colors, new wooden and aluminum decorations on its interior and the Lexus Safety System security package including the Pre-Collision Systems (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert (LDA) with Steering Assist, Intelligent High Beam (IHB) and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
The GS 200t is available with a 2 liter four-cylinder engine producing 245 hp and 349 Nm of torque, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends the power to the rear-wheels, having an average fuel consumption of 7.1 liters/100 km. The GS 350 is equipped with a 3.5 liter V6 engine producing 315 hp and 379 Nm of torque. The GS 450h combines a 3.5 liter V6 engine and an electric motor, producing a combined power of 340 hp, combined to a CVT transmission, while in Europe the car will also be available in a GS 300h hybrid version that combines a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor.
