Hyundai showcases at their stand in Frankfurt the i20 Active. The compact crossover version of the i20, has new bumpers, roof rails, new lights with LED daytime running lights, a black protection on its lower part and an increased ground clearance by 20 mm. It is slightly larger in all dimensions, while its interior, has a slightly higher driving position, to provide better visibility.
Mechanically, it is equipped with a new, turbocharged three-cylinder, 1 liter engine, that will be available in two versions, one producing 100 hp and one delivering 120 hp. Sales of i20 Active will start in Europe in early 2016.
