Renderings of the new Kia Rio

Kia released the first renderings of the new Rio which will make its official debut at the Paris auto show in September. The model has a new design with LED daytime running lights and it will be offered also in a GT version.

The five-door model has the characteristic Kia grille and large wheels, while its interior features a three-spoke multifunction leather steering wheel and a large screen in the center of the dashboard.

The Rio was the best-seller model of Kia in 2015, since sold more than 473.000 units. The new generation will grow in size, with the increased wheelbase to add more space in the cabin.

Kia promises that the Rio will offer better convenience compared to other models in its category, having a spacious trunk and that it will be equipped with the “latest connectivity features”.
