Claydon Reeves announced that they will unveil the Aeroboat powered by a Rolls-Royce engine at the Salute to Style in July.
The luxurious, sporty boat is inspired by the fighter aircraft Spitfire. It is made of carbon fiber, kevlar and lightweight wood. It is equipped with a fully reconditioned Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine that although detuned, delivers 1,100 hp. With this power, the Aeroboat will be capable of speeds of 75-95 knots. Production will be limited to 12 units and each model will be manufactured according to customer preferences.
