Although we have already seen the Aston Martin Lagonda in spy photos without camouflage, the Aston Martin has released the first official images of the Lagonda pre-production, being transferred to Oman for testing.
The car is described by the designer, Marek Reichmann, as “excellent automotive art”, it is a super sedan that will be built in extremely limited numbers by the Q section of Aston Martin and it will be offered exclusively to customers of the Middle East. It is based on the company’s VH platform and features carbon fiber body parts to reduce its weight.
The Aston Martin has not announced anything yet about the engine the Lagonda will be equipped with, but it is believed to be a six liter V12 with producing 600 hp. The power will be transmitted to the rear axle via an eight-speed gearbox. Deliveries of the Lagonda, are scheduled to begin early in 2015 and production will not exceed 100 units.
