One of the most popular names of Honda returns in the most dynamic way. Honda has announced the launch of the new Lead with a new 125 cc eSP engine.
The Honda Lead is completely revamped both at the front and the rear with LED lights. One of the main features of Lead, is the large storage space under the seat has been with a capacity of 37 liters which is enough to place two full face helmets. It’s total weight is limited to 115 kg, it features 12 inch wheels at both the front and rear while the length and the width amounts to 1,830 and 680 mm. respectively.
The previous liquid cooling engine of 110 cc has been replaced by a liquid cooled 125 cc engine. Rumors say that the motor will be producing 11.4 horsepower and that it will come from the PCX 125. The engine features the Idle Stop System of Honda and it has electronic fuel injection.
At present there has not been clear whether the new Lead 125 that will be built in Vietnam would be available in many countries. However, in early summer it will be exported to the Japanese market and Honda will produce 200,000 units per year.
