Icona presented the Vulcano at the Shanghai motorshow. It’s engine is designed by Samuel Chuffart, who has worked on behalf of Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan and Bertone. The Vulcano has a length of 4.450 mm, width of 1.940 mm and it weighs 1,595 pounds.
It is equipped with a V12 engine producing 790 horsepower and an electric engine producing 160 horsepower. The power is sent to the rear wheels through an automatic gearbox, with the 0-100 km/h can being completed in 3 seconds and a top speed of 349 km/h.
There is a second engine available, a twin-turbo V6 producing 550 horses which is combined with an electric motor that produces 160 horsepower at the front axle and another electric motor on the back with the same horsepower. The four wheel drive version comlpetes the 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, the 0 to 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds and it also has a top speed of 349 km/hour.
The one-off supercar costs 2 million euros and is manufactured by Cecomp coachbuilder, which has helped build the BMW Z4 Zagato and the Ferrari 575M SuperAmerica, and had undertaken the engineering support for the Alfa Romeo 8C.
