At the auto show of Los Angeles Nissan unveiled the Juke Nismo RS. The car is obviously aimed at those people that think that the “simple” Juke Nismo is not enough. Thus , the most powerful , RS version delivers 215 horses at 6,000 rpm and 284Nm of torque between 3,600 and 4,800 rpm by the same 1.6 liter turbocharged engine. These figures apply to the version with the upgraded 6-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive as when the car is equipped with Xtronic CVT and all-wheel drive , the same engine delivers 211 horses at 6,000 rpm and 249Nm of torque between 2,400 and 6,000 rpm.
The fog lights have been replaced by LED daytime running lights and a redesigned grille, that gives much better airflow to the engine . Interesting is the fact that thanks to the new grille and grille , the Juke Nismo RS is 37 % more aerodynamic compared with the ‘simple’ versions ! It stands on 18 inch wheels and it wears Continental ContiSportContact5 tires, size 255/45 . Customers will be able to order the car in 3 colors (Pearl White, Brilliant Silver or Sapphire Black) while the interior has been upgraded with Recaro seats, steering wheel is covered in Alcantara and red stitching on the rear seats .
