These are the first photos of the Peugeot 308 R Concept which will be officially unveiled at Frankfurt on September 10.
The car is painted in red and black matte paint, wearing new bodykit consisting of new bumpers, side skirts, spoiler and twin tailpipes. Is wider by 30 mm compared to the stock 308 and has a 26 mm lower ground clearance.
Under the hood lies the 1.6 liter THP engine from the RCZ R which produces 270 horses at 6,000 rpm with 330 Nm of torque from 1,900 to 5,500 rpm and consumes 6.3 l/100 km, emitting 145 g/km CO2. The power is transferred to the front axle via a six-speed manual transmission that sends power to the wheels via a Torsen limited slip differential.
The brakes are Alcon’s with disks having a diameter of 380 mm front and 330 mm rear, it is equipped with 19 inch wheels and wears tires measuring 235/35.
