According to a recent reports by Bernstein Research, the Range Rover Evoque XL,will be presented sometime in 2016. The car has been codenamed L560 , and will acquires a third row of seats, thus transferring up to 7 people. Will be bigger 300 mm in length and 100 mm taller .
It will be built on the new iq [Al] platform of Jaguar, thus being lighter than the Evoque. It will be manufactured at the new plant of Jaguar in Solihull town with Land Rover wanting s to sell 80.000 Evoque XL annually , making it the most successful model that will be based on the new platform.
It will be placed between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport and mechanically it will be equipped with the same engines that are also found in the Evoque, 2 diesel engines of 2.2 liter producing 150 and 190 hp while in terms of petrol engines, there will be the 2.0 liter turbo, direct-injection producing 240 hp . Also rumors say that it may also be available with a new hybrid turbo diesel engine of 1.8 -liter that produces 310 horses.
