Skoda will present the renewed Superb at the report of Shanghai, which will go on sale by the end of June. It has new front and rear bumpers, new front fenders, new bonnet, new grille, new bi-xenon lights with LED daytime running lights, new fog lights, new tail lights, it is available in 2 new colors (gray and white) and there is a new range of wheel sizes from 16 “to 18”.

At the interior there is a new three-spoke steering wheel, new cloth/leather upholstery and new decorations, the luggage space and the space available to rear passengers is now bigger,(633 liters in the wagon version and 595 liters in the hatchback verison) (1.700 and 1.865 liters by folding down the rear seats). The front passenger seat can be moved electronically from the rear.It will be equipped with engines that consume up to 19% less fuel, combined with a Start/Stop system.

The Superb GreenLine consumes just 4.2 liters per 100 km and 109 g/km of  emissions of CO2. The 2.0-liter TDI engine producing 140 horsepower will be combined with a manual gearbox in the 4 × 4 version. The four-wheel drive version with the 2.0-liter TDI engine with 170 horses will be combined exclusively with a 6 speed DSG gearbox.

The renewed Superb features park assist, panoramic glass roof with solar cells, automatic locking and engine starting (KESSY), air conditioning and four infotainment systems with the leading unit to be a Columbus 6.5 inch color touch screen with 30 GB of hard disk space.

The Superb also features 9 airbags, 3-point seatbelts, adjustable headrests, ESP, ABS and park assist as standard. Additional equipment includes Adaptive Frontlight, the Driver Activity Assistant system that informs the driver in case of fatigue, hill-assist and electronic tire pressure check.
