The Portuguese AJP that specializes in enduro racing present a bike inspired by the motorcycles that participate on the Dakar.
The PR7 is equipped with Yamaha 660 cc engine, the same engine used on the Yamaha Ténéré 660, producing 48 hp and 58 Nm of torque. The PR7 has an electric starter and the engine is designed for road use, but in any case it will be able to get away without problems on off-road tracks.
Its dry weight is only 155 kg and it features twin headlights and a transparent windshield. The wheels are 21-inch front and 18 inch rear, the braking system features a 300 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm at the rear, while the chassis is made of aluminium and steel. The tank, is positioned centrally under the seat and it has a capacity of 17 liters and a range of about 350 km. The AJP PR7 will go into production towards the end of next year and its price will be close to €10.000.
