The small sport bikes under 500 cc, are growing in popularity and motorcyclists are starting to appreciate them. One of these small motorcycles is the Hyosung GD 250 R.
The name od the bike in Asia will be Exiv 250 R. The bikes has sharp lines and it is very pleasing to the eye. The engine of this is a single cylinder 249 cc liquid-cooled 4-valve producing 27 hp at 9,500 rpm, whereas the torque is 24.1 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
The bike features a tube frame, an upside-down 37 mm front fork and a rear shock with adjustable preload. The brakes are 300 mm for the single front disc and 230 mm for the one behind, with provision for ABS (which is not available as a standard). The weight of the bike is 138 kg dry. In South Korea, the birthplace of Hyosung, the bike will be sold in the first months of the new year, for the equivalent amount of about €3,100, while the bike will be sold in Europe somewhere at 2016.
