Audi teases the new Q5

Audi will unveil the new Q5 at the Paris auto show and recently they released a teaser photo that shows the design of the rear LED lights of the car.

The car will adopt the design concept of the Q7 and the A4 and it will have LED lights, a slightly sloping roofline and dual exhaust tailpipes, integrated in the rear bumper. It will be constructed on the MLB Evo platform, making use of aluminum and high strength steel and it will weigh at least 100 kilos less compared to the current generation.

It will be available with a range of four and six cylinders gasoline and diesel engines, while it will also be offered in a plug-in hybrid version. The company will release also the SQ5 TDI and SQ5, that will be the top versions of the car.

Its additional equipment will feature among other stuff, the laser lights of Audi. The construction of the car will be made in Audi’s plant in Mexico, with the new Q5 starting from €31,000 in Germany.
