For many years Audi was the company that provided the safety cars for the 24 hours of Le Mans Endurance race, but since the company went away from WEC, BMW will be the company that will take over this role.
Last year’s Le Mans safety car was an R8 and it remains to be seen which car BMW will choose to replace the R8 and present the security car of Le Mans. We do not know if it will be the M2, M4 or another car, all we know is that BMW will supply 26 cars for the famous Circuit de la Sarthe race.
