Porsche issued three recalls in the US, recalling a total of 18,011 cars. Specifically the company is recalling these, 17,871 Macan that have a problem on the passenger detection sensor, which is responsible for the activation or not of the passenger’s air bag.
The company also recalls 120 models of the 911 (Carrera, Turbo, Targa, Cabriolet, 911 R and 911 GT3), Boxster 718 and Cayman 718 in which there is a risk that the driver’s airbag is not activated in the case of an accident.
Finally they are recalling 20 718 Boxster, 911 Cabriolet and 911 Targa because their windshields may be unstuck, because of an improper connection with the windshield frame.
