Borgward presented the BX7, their new car, which features a black grille with a big logo of the company, LED daytime running lights, roof rails, a discreet spoiler and a silver lower part. Its length is 4.7 meters, while its luggage compartment can reach up to 1,344 liters.

Its interior features an infotainment system with a 12,3 inch screen, a 360 degree camera and a leather steering wheel.
The BX7 will be available with four petrol and diesel engines. Initially it will be offered with a 2 liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 224 hp, combined with an automatic dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox with the power to be transferred to all wheels through an electronically controlled differential of BorgWarner. The company will also present a plug-in hybrid version of the car, which will be able to produce 401 hp and it will have an electric range of 55 km.
Initially, the Borgward BX7 will be available in China and other emerging markets, with the model to go on sale in Europe shortly thereafter at a price close to €25,000 in Germany.
