The Audi RS2 shared many parts with Porsche models of the era. Its wheels, brakes, suspension and wider-set up was all done by Porsche.
The RS2 was a family car that was equipped with a 5 cylinder 2.2-liter turbo engine, that produced 315 hp at 6,500 rpm with 410 Nm at 3,000 rpm, that enabled it to do the 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and to have a top speed electronically limited at 262 km/h.
The car had a four-wheel drive system, a six-speed manual gearbox, Brembo brakes and Porsche ‘Cup’ wheels. The car was only produced as a statin wagon, but Audi released secretly 4 sedan models, with one of them being in the company’s Museum in Ingolstadt.
