Mercedes to get the homologation for the DTM AMG C-Class, the most successful race car in the history of the DTM, produced the CLK DTM AMG. Just 180 cars were produced of which 100 were coupes and 80 were convertibles.

The cars were equipped with a 5.4 liter supercharged V8 engine producing 582 hp at 6,100 rpm and 800 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The coupe could do the 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, having a top speed of 322 km/h, while the convertible could do the 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds, having a top speed of 300 km/h.
