Chevrolet gave a teaser video of the next generation of the Camaro. The video states that the current generation has sold 500,000 cars and asks “What will the sixth do?”, which means how many models the sixth generation of the Camaro is going to sell.
The new Camaro, will be presented at the New York auto show next month, it will be smaller in size and it will weigh less than the current generation.
The car will be based on the Alpha platform of GM, the same used on the Cadillac CTS, while the range of engines will include a V8 and a two-liter four-cylinder engine that will yield approximately 280 hp to compete with the Mustang Ecoboost. The manufacturing of the car will take place at GM’s plant in Lansing Grand River.
