The Challenger SRT Hellcat and Charger SRT Hellcat are selling… a lot, so Dodge announced that they are doubling their production to around 16,000 units a year.
However, Dodge, canceled many orders that were made for MY2015 Hellcats, with the owners of the cars to have to wait a few more months to collect their MY2016 Hellcat. To these customers, Dodge will offer a generous discount to thank them for the extra wait.
The MY2016 Challenger SRT Hellcat and Charger SRT Hellcat have small changes, such as leather upholstery as a standard, an updated infotainment system with a Uconnect navigation system, HD radio and subscription of five years to the SiriusXM Travel Link and Traffic service. Orders of the MY2016 Hellcats will start from the second week of August, with production to begin in September.
