The first official photo of the Fiat 500X was leaked online, showing us the new addition to the family of 500 that will make its official debut at the Paris auto show in about two weeks.
The first crossover in the 500 family is an important milestone for Fiat in regards to the brand and the technology. It will be the “opponent” of the new Honda HR-V, the Renault Captur and the Nissan Juke.
The car will be built at Fiat’s factory in Melfi, Italy and it will be based on the short version of the “Small Wide” platform. It will be available with petrol and diesel engines which will include a 1.4 liter 95 hp engine that will be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 1.4 literi MultiAir 120 with hp, a 0.9 liter TwinAir with 105 hp, a 1.3 MultiJet with 85 hp and 200 Nm of torque, as well as a 1.6 liter MultiJet with 105 hp and 320 Nm of torque.
