Honda managed to break the record for lowest fuel consumption with a Civic 1.6 i-DTEC. The car traveled 8,387 miles in 24 different European countries, consuming an average of just 100.31 miles per gallon.
Fergal McGrath and Julian Warren (the drivers of the car), began from Belgium on June 1 and returned there 25 days later after having traveled 8,387 miles, stopping 9 times to refuel.
