SsangYong gave the first official photos of Tivoli, its new category B small crossover. The car is essentially the production version of the SsangYong XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure concepts that were presented in Paris. The name comes from an Italian city, Tivoli, 30 km outside Rome.
The car has a length of 4195 mm and a wheelbase of 2.6 meters, offering quite spacious interior. Among other things, it has seven airbags, touchscreen, dual-zone air conditioning and rear view camera.
It is available with a 1.6 liter gasoline engine and a 1.6 liter diesel engine, both engines are combined to either a six-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, with the diesel engine emitting 110-120 g/km of CO2, and the gasoline engine 140-150 g/km of CO2. Sales of the SsangYong Tivoli will start in South Korea from January, while at the rest of the world, it will start being sold from mid-2015.
