The interior of the Lexus UX Concept

Lexus released, last week, a picture of the new UX concept, which has a sharp design, similar to the NX and RX. The model has large wheels, cameras instead of side mirrors, reverse hinged rear doors and mechanically it will be equipped with a hybrid engine. Now Lexus released a photo of the interior of the car.

Its interior is futuristic and it looks like it came from a science fiction movie, as it features the 3D Human Machine Interface (HMI) infotainment system and a holographic display that combines analogue and digital information about the vehicle, such as air conditioning, music, etc., where the driver can interact with the touch of his fingers.

The instrument panel, on the other hand, has been replaced with a transparent, floating ball, while the mirrors are replaced by cameras, with the image to be displayed on the main ball, and the windows and door locks to operate by an electrostatic technology.

The UX concept shows how the new compact crossover from Lexus will look like, with its production version being expected at the second half of 2017.
