The head of Lamborghini Stefano Domenicali, who was also the former head of the Ferrari team in Formula 1, said in a recent interview that the company is thinking of entering the F1.
He said:
At this moment we have other priorities and we must be absolutely commit to them. Motorsports will always be part of Lamborghini, if Formula 1 will change and the cost of entry will become smaller, then we may enter.
For the moment the Italian company is focused on the development and evolution of the Urus, which is expected to double their annual sales by 2019.
