Land Rover, announced that they plan to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Continental Divide mission, taking various 2014 Range Rovers in a 1600 + kilometer journey on that path. These cars, will have absolutely no modifications, so they will be forced to cross the inhospitable lands at altitudes sometimes exceeding 4,000 meters as they came from the factory.
Furthermore, the company announced it will auction a fully restored replica of the 1990 Range Rover Great Divide on eBay. The auction will begin on August 4 and proceeds will go to “Tread Lightly!”, An organization that promotes responsible off-roading.
