Land Rover Defender Challenge by Bowler

Bowler teamed up with Land Rover and released to the market the Land Rover Defender Challenge which will participate in a new championship, that will consist of 7 races. The organization of the races will be held by MSA (Motor Sports Association), with the championship to serve as a springboard for long Rally Raid events such as the Rally Dakar.

The Land Rover Defender Challenge by Bowler is based on the Land Rover Defender 90 Hard Top with a short wheelbase and fitted with a diesel 2,2- liter engine producing 170 hp and 450 Nm of torque combined with a 6- speed manual gearbox. The car is equipped with 18 inch wheels with Kumho tires, approved roll cage from MSA, new suspension, fire extinguisher , racing seats , 6-point safety belts and an intercom .

It’s cost is 59,000 euros (excluding VAT), with the participation fees in the championship to cost from 11,800 to 16,500 euros depending on the package you choose . The races will all be in England on the following dates .
