Land Rover may have to extend for a few more months the production of the Defender, since the demand of model is very high.The British company has announced that they will phase out the production of the Defender on December of 2015, but due to the excessive demand for the model, Land Rover is considering whether to extend the production to the end of February of 2016.
Rumors also say that Land Rover will continue to manufacture the current generation of the Defender in a factory outside Europe. As for the new generation of the Defender, it is expected to go on sale in 2018.
